The hospital provides specialised secure services which are contracted by the service and these currently include:

• Low Secure Services for Young People

The post is for a Consultant Psychiatrist within our female services  based in Northern England.  The post holder will be expected to work as part of a multidisciplinary team which contains a wide range of professional disciplines and to work collaboratively with  clinicians and commissioners who contract services from the hospital.  The Consultant Psychiatrist will be expected to delegate the assessment and delivery of services to members of the multi disciplinary team, while closely supervising the activities of the team as they follow this model.  The Deaf Service uses a broad range of evidenced based approaches when offering treatments and has a philosophy of care which is person centered and adheres to  the principles of recovery guide.

 The Consultant Psychiatrist will have a dedicated office shared with a consultant colleague and will also have administration and secretarial support
