We are currently seeking 2x consultant O&G’s for one of the largest regional hospitals in Victoria.

Our Client in central Victoria is just 2 hours drive north of Melbourne with proximity to alpine snowfields, rivers and lakes, wineries, the arts; we enjoy glorious weather, great lifestyle and the sports and attractions of a major regional city. It is the Public Health Service for the Hume Region, with main campuses located at Shepparton, Tatura and Rushworth and additional sites in Shepparton, Seymour, Benalla and Wodonga. It provides a range of acute, mental health, aged and primary health and community support services across the Goulburn Valley Sub Region of the Department of Human Services, Hume Region. The main campus is the major acute referral site for the sub region.

You will undertake research in the area of O&G whilst also participating in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs. You will be required to participate in continuous quality improvement activities and observe all hospital by-laws and statutory regulations.

In order to be successful for this position you will have a strong clinical background with a commitment to teaching, management, or research. You will be a qualified specialist Anaesthetist with Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of O&G or substantially equivalent qualification. The successful applicant will also have specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty.
